SOMEWHERE IN BROOKLYN

Got the best birthday present ever the other day. My roommate got her friend Kyle Haase to draw a comic…starring me! The events in the strip really did happen, and this is really what my kitchen looks like. The cheese grater’s still in the sink.

Mired in the Bayou

Hey, so this is my new blog! I partially created it so that I wouldn’t be the only person without a link to my work on Inhabitat’s post about this art show I’m in at 99% Gallery, opening on October 15th. It’s called “Mired in the Bayou,” and it’s about my trip down to Bayou La Batre, Alabama with photographers Michael De Pasquale and Reed Young after the BP Oil Spill. I did the text and audio. The show also features installations by this awesome artist Graham Holly.

You better show yer face there.
